About this role
BAE Systems develops advanced aerospace, defense, and electronic systems for national security and commercial applications. The Electrical Engineer Co-Op will design, develop, implement, and support automated hardware and software test solutions for GPS receivers, sensor systems, and microelectronics, including thermal and vibration testing.
What you'll do:
- Design the hardware and/or software test solutions for Navigation and Sensor Systems products (GPS receivers, and microelectronics). These test solutions include but are not limited by the following test equipment: Digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies and electronic loads
- Develop thermal and vibration test solutions for environmental stress and screening requirements
- Provide engineering support of test solutions in engineering labs and operations
- The successful applicant should be knowledgeable and skilled with a variety of engineering principals
What they're looking for:
- Must have completed your sophomore or junior year of a four year degree program in a Bachelor's of Science in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Going into your junior or senior year for a Bachelor's of Science in Computer or Electrical
- High motivation to solve problems and continuously improve existing products
- Circuit design experience
- Software experience in C# and C++
- NI TestStand experience
