2027 Commercial Summer Analyst Program - New York

Santander is hiring undergraduate students for its 2027 Commercial Banking Summer Internship Program. Interns will gain exposure to Commercial Banking business areas, support client and market analyses and other initiatives, and develop skills in financial services.

What you'll do:

• As a Commercial Banking Intern, you will gain exposure to the various lines of business within Commercial Banking and develop an understanding of the bank's overall operations
• Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to projects that may include customer financial analysis and monitoring, customer outreach, analysis of the client base and competitors, competitive benchmarking, client onboarding, market intelligence, and small research initiatives

What they're looking for:

• The 2027 Commercial Summer Internship Program is intended for undergraduate students with an anticipated graduation date of May/June 2028
• An undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028
• Area of study in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or an equivalent field
• Strong academic performance; cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above
• Demonstrated leadership through campus involvement, work experience, or extracurricular activities
• Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and courage
• Sharp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges
• Ability to multi-task as required
• Ability to work independently on special projects
