POSITION TITLE: 2027 Database Administration (DBA) Intern

Major Duties:
- In pursuit of a two- or four-year degree related to Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable degree required.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products required
- Course work or hands-on experience in database management preferred
- Participate in projects and/or team meetings.
- Participate in a firm-wide intern “Hack-a-thon”.
Hours/Location:
- Full-time summer schedule working 37.5 hours/week
- Opportunities available in our Warrendale, PA 15086 location (Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days in office / 1 day remote)

Position Specifications:
- May collaborate with SQL Server and/or Oracle DBA teams to support day-to-day database operations and troubleshooting.
- Assists in creating and maintaining department documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles on SharePoint.
- Writes and maintains OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) scripts to monitor database health, performance, and availability.
- Review and fulfill user access requests submitted through the ESS, ensuring appropriate approvals and controls are followed.
- Performs assigned audit-related tasks, including gathering evidence and documentation to support compliance reviews.
- Complete support work in SSRS reporting environment
- Manages and executes simple turnovers for scheduled system changes, following change management procedures.
- Participates in basic project work, contributing to tasks such as testing, documentation, or implementation support.
