About this role

The Human Resources Summer Intern will support HR programs, analyze workforce data, contribute to cross-functional projects, and assist with initiatives in areas such as HR business partnering, compensation, and talent and performance management.
What you'll do:
- Support the execution of HR programs, processes, and initiatives across areas such as HR Business Partnering, Compensation, and Talent & Performance Management
- Partner with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to support the execution of people priorities across respective client groups and deliver effective HR solutions
- Analyze workforce and HR data to identify insights, support decision-making, and contribute to program effectiveness
- Assist with key HR activities, which may include compensation programs, talent and performance initiatives, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Contribute to HR projects and cross-functional workstreams that support business and organizational priorities
- Support compliance with Company policies, programs, and procedures while helping ensure consistent HR practices across the organization
- Build knowledge of HR practices and AIG’s business while developing analytical, project management, communication, and relationship-management skills
What they're looking for:
- * Bachelor's or Master's degree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcript required upon application)
- * Available for the complete Summer Internship Program from June 7 through August 6, 2027
- * Summer Intern positions are in-person opportunities, requiring interns to work in the office at least four days per week
- * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment
- * Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- * Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- * Preferred majors include Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- * Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information
- * Foundational knowledge of, or demonstrated interest in, HR practices, policies, and employment-related laws and regulations
- * Interest in using workforce data and insights to support people and business decisions
- * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an interest in learning HR information systems and talent management technologies
- * Demonstrated interest in areas such as HR Business Partnering, Compensation, or Talent & Performance Management
