2027 Finance and Accounting Summer Analyst Program - Boston

Santander is hiring undergraduate interns for its 2027 Finance and Accounting Summer Analyst Program. Interns will support finance and accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning, while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

What you'll do:

• You will work alongside experienced professionals, support meaningful business initiatives, learn about the banking industry and develop a strong foundation in the bank's operations
• As a Finance and Accounting intern you will be exposed to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
• You will build skills in financial analysis, data interpretation, and Excel modeling while learning how to communicate insights to business leaders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives

What they're looking for:

• The 2027 Finance and Accounting Internship Program is intended for undergraduate students with an anticipated graduation date of May/June 2028
• An undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028
• Area of study in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or an equivalent field
• Strong academic performance; cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
• Demonstrated leadership through campus involvement, work experience, or extracurricular activities
• Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and courage
• Sharp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges
• Ability to multi-task as required
