About this role

Plante Moran is an audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firm seeking a Go-to-Market Intern. The intern will support marketing campaigns, firm-hosted events, sponsorship programs, client engagement, and marketing technology activities, including campaign execution, event coordination, workflow management, and reporting.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns, events, and sponsorship programs from planning to reporting—tracking deliverables, negotiating benefits, and supporting partner relationships
  • Collaborate with the activation team, creative studio, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality campaigns and events; draft and edit promotional copy, develop invitations, and support distribution of digital communications
  • Utilize marketing tools and technologies (CRM, project management systems, marketing automation platforms) to manage workflows, coordinate approvals, and analyze engagement data
  • Capture success stories, photos, and analytics to support reporting, inclusive recaps, and presentations for leadership
  • Provide day-of-event support for in-person client and prospect experiences, ensuring flawless execution and brand representation

What they're looking for:

  • Completion of three years of study toward a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of CRM systems (MS Dynamics, Salesforce), project management tools (Adobe Workfront), and/or marketing automation platforms (Marketo) a plus
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and client-service oriented with the ability to represent the firm in internal and external settings
  • *This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.*
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English
