New York Life is hiring a Human Resources Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting workforce initiatives across several HR areas. The intern may contribute to recruitment, employer branding, talent management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

What you'll do:

• Talent Acquisition – Assist with strategic recruitment efforts and candidate experience initiatives
• Employer Branding – Contribute to content creation, social media strategy, and campaigns that highlight our culture
• Talent Management – Partner on programs focused on employee engagement, performance, and development
• DEI Center – Support initiatives that advance inclusion across the organization through programming, partnering with Employee Resource Groups (ERGS) and more

What they're looking for:

• Must be enrolled at an accredited 4-year university or college with anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2030
• To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S
• We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program
• Likewise, this program is not available to those authorized to work under optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT)
• Demonstrated leadership or meaningful contributions in campus or community extracurricular activities
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
• Innovative mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Prior internship experience preferred, but not required
