2027 Intern - Electrical Engineer (Howe & Howe) - Waterboro, ME

Textron Aviation provides an internship focused on hands-on engineering experience and meaningful project work. The Electrical Engineer Intern will develop electrical schematics, harness designs, and CAD drawings; perform engineering analyses and testing; provide technical support; and support prototype builds, troubleshooting, and documentation for ground robotics applications.

What you'll do:

• Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates
• Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery
• Supporting Prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required
• Understanding customer requirements, and provide design solutions
• Familiarity with Military standard and specifications then incorporating them into the system design
• Interest in automotive design related field

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field of study
• You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S
