2027 Intern - Electrical Engineer (Howe & Howe) - Waterboro, ME

Textron is a global company with brands including Textron Systems, where Howe & Howe develops advanced ground robotics and tailor-made vehicles. The Electrical Engineering Intern will create electrical schematics and CAD designs, perform engineering analyses, support prototype builds and troubleshooting, and provide technical support for customer technical data packages.

What you'll do:

• Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates
• Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery
• Supporting Prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required
• Understanding customer requirements, and provide design solutions
• Familiarity with Military standard and specifications then incorporating them into the system design
• Interest in automotive design related field

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field of study
• You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S
