About this role
IBM is a global technology and consulting company focused on hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. The Global Affairs Skills, Strategy, Operations, and Transformation Intern will support strategic planning, performance analysis, process transformation, talent development, and organizational resource planning.
What you'll do:
- Strategy Development: Assist in the formulation and execution of strategic plans that align with IBM's business objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative strategies
- Performance Analysis: Support the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of various initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations that highlight performance insights and recommendations
- Transformation & Enablement: Participate in initiatives to simplify and automate processes and workflows. Assist in creating education materials to enable the organization to develop new ways of working
- Talent Development: Collaborate on the design and delivery of programs that help foster career development across all levels of the organization
- Operations: Support planning and tracking of resources across the organization to ensure optimal alignment with strategic priorities

- High School Diploma/GED
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University
- Available for an internship in Summer 2027
- Rising senior for the 2027-2028 school year
- Fluent in English
- Analytical Skills: Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn data and research into insights
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations
- Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable working with groups of different backgrounds and skills to enable collaboration
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Benefits:
- Hybrid work arrangement; interns are expected to come into the office at least three days per week.
