2027 Intern - Software Engineer (Howe & Howe) - Waterboro, ME

Textron, through its Howe & Howe division, develops advanced ground robotics and related technology for defense and public safety applications. The Software Engineer Intern will develop, debug, test, and document software applications while supporting requirements analysis, systems modeling, and architecture design.

What you'll do:

• Developing applications
• Debugging and testing code
• Documenting and testing new software applications
• Executing software tasking to include requirements analysis, systems modeling, architecture design, etc

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar field of study
• You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S
• Experience in various programming languages
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and results oriented
