2027 Internal Accounting Intern

Plante Moran is an audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firm that supports organizations’ financial health. The Internal Accounting Intern will assist with transactional accounting and the Firm’s financial statement package, performing basic analysis, reporting, and clerical duties alongside experienced accountants.

What you'll do:

• Interns within this team work on both transactional accounting and with the Firm’s Financial Statement package
• This Intern will be responsible for basic analysis, reporting and some clerical duties
• This experience provides an opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced accountants who do full cycle accounting

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
• Strong performer and high achiever based on resume and involvement on campus
• This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English
