POSITION TITLE: 2027 Internal Audit Intern

You'll gain valuable insight into the asset management industry, build your network, and take part in engaging events throughout the summer designed to foster collaboration, connect you with the firm and your fellow interns.
Purpose of the Internship:
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will receive a broad and in-depth understanding of the audit process through assisting auditors in completing projects that support the Internal Audit program. You will have the opportunity to rotate between Operational Audit and Information Technology Audit.
Major Duties:
Perform and document assigned audits, including internal control evaluations and tests of controls, of key business processes supporting:
- Investment products
- Corporate functions
- Information technology
- SOX 404
Hours/location:
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- This internship will be required to work out of both the Pittsburgh and Warrendale locations: Federated Hermes Tower – Pittsburgh, PA 15222 and/or Warrendale Office - 4000 Ericsson Drive Warrendale PA 15086
- Hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office / 1 day remote)
Explanatory Comments:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
- Above average oral and written communication skills
Position Specifications:
- Pursuing a degree with a concentration in accounting or related major preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products including Word and Excel required
- Knowledge of investment industry and mutual fund terminology preferred
