The company is seeking undergraduate students for its 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program, which combines comprehensive training with practical experience in investment banking, client service, financial analysis, and transaction execution.

What you'll do:

  • You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship
  • You’ll learn the nature of client service and how we build long-term relationships by putting their needs first, while developing the technical acumen to launch a career in CIB
  • You will be partnered with a mentor, who is able to provide you with guidance and advice throughout the Summer while immediately building your Santander network
  • Whether it is raising capital for an expansion or buying another company, our Investment Banking teams provide innovative and creative financial solutions for all clients’ needs
  • Our teams are focused on developing long-term relationships and crafting strategies that help our clients grow and innovate
  • We provide sound advice, offer clients access funding, and execute transactions, all while helping clients manage risks in today’s complex environment
  • We work across teams to bring comprehensive solutions to clients’ challenges, allowing them to achieve their objectives and remain competitive across global markets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to work independently on special projects
  • Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment
  • All of our professionals at all levels are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management

What they're looking for:

  • * An undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028
  • * Cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above
  • * Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations
  • * Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and courage
  • * Sharp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels
  • * Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required
