New York Life Investment Management is a financial services organization focused on asset management and investment-related solutions. The AI & Data Science Summer Internship provides undergraduate and master's students with hands-on experience collecting and analyzing data, developing AI and machine learning applications, building dashboards, and supporting business solutions across investments, marketing, distribution, and client service.

What you'll do:

• Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
• Build dashboards and visualizations that communicate meaningful business insights
• Support machine learning projects from data preparation through model evaluation
• Assist in developing proof-of-concept AI applications supporting investments, marketing, distribution, and client service
• Research and evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies
• Present findings to technical and business stakeholders
• Design and build AI-powered applications that solve real business challenges
• Develop intelligent tools using enterprise AI platforms and cloud technologies
• Explore large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications
• Integrate AI solutions into business workflows
• Prototype quick-win solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business partners to deliver production-ready solutions
