About this role

Plante Moran is an audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firm. The Project Analyst Intern will support real estate advisory services through feasibility studies, market research, client deliverables, project coordination, due diligence, investment analysis, and client relationship support.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in preparing development feasibility studies, including pro forma modeling and incentive analysis
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support site selection, highest and best use analysis, and economic impact studies
  • Support the preparation of client deliverables such as presentations, reports, and proposals
  • Participate in internal and client meetings, taking notes and tracking action items
  • Help coordinate project schedules, budgets, and procurement documentation
  • Analyze zoning, entitlement, and permitting requirements to support due diligence and risk mitigation efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, financial analysts, and design/construction professionals
  • Supporting the project team to analyze and underwrite potential new investment opportunities
  • Conduct research on real estate trends, policy changes, and development incentives relevant to client projects
  • Enhancing client relationships through award-winning service, follow-up and successful project completion

What they're looking for:

  • Detail-oriented leader with interpersonal, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, real estate, real estate development/finance, urban planning or related field
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English
  • Experience with assisting in development or construction projects is preferred
