Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies. ## Program Overview Our 2027 Summer Internship Program runs for 9 weeks, starting on Monday, June 7th and finishing on Friday, August 6th. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders. We are only accepting applications from students in their Junior Year, graduating in 2028. Throughout the program you will: - Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business - Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience - Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field - Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future careerThis internship provides practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in the Asset Management sector. ## Who We're Looking For We are looking for individuals who are motivated and have a clear passion to work within Schroders Capital Infrastructure. ## Required Skills and Capabilities - Innovative and analytical, with the ability to think outside the box and look for a fresh perspective - Flexible, inquisitive and open minded to rotate across different teams - Willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks and projects - Good communication and strong interpersonal skills - Growth mindset and willingness to learn from mistakes - Result-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate well with diverse stakeholders ## Responsibilities - Work with the capital raising and product strategy teams to develop and launch new product offerings with a view to growing the platform globally, including researching new investment themes, supporting the structuring of new products and creating client materials - Support capital raising processes, including investor due diligence - Assist in portfolio management, including portfolio construction analysis, investment governance, investor reporting and maintaining fund-level data ## The Team Schroders Greencoat was founded in 2009 and is now part of Schroders. It is a specialist infrastructure investment manager, focused on investing in the fast-growing alternative asset class of energy transition through both public and private market funds. Its expertise includes established renewable technologies such as wind and solar, as well as newer areas such as batteries, heat pumps, heat networks and green hydrogen. Schroders Greencoat is central to Schroders' infrastructure equity capabilities within Schroders Capital, the group's private markets business. Schroders Capital Infrastructure brings together the legacy Greencoat teams in the US and Europe, alongside a Paris-based infrastructure equity team from within Schroders and a more recently onboarded renewable infrastructure team based in Hong Kong and mainland China. Collectively, this comprises a team of over 140 staff with a presence in 10 countries across Europe, the United States and China and has invested over €17 billion into approximately 450 energy transition assets at various project stages, with an aggregate capacity of around 8GW. ## Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications - You will be in your Junior Year, graduating in 2028. This will be onsite in the New York City office three times a week on a hybrid working model.
