2027 Spring Data & Analytics Intern (R20783)

MKS Inc. is seeking a Data & Analytics Intern for its undergraduate intern/co-op program. The role partners with Quality, Finance, and IT teams to develop database systems, build data architectures, automate metrics, migrate information between tools, and support process improvement projects.

What you'll do:

• Working with IT and Finance to create a data architecture which connects information from shipping, operations, quality, and manufacturing
• Collaborating with the Quality Team and IT to create a data architecture that would re-create the data flows in SmartSheet to another tool and migrate the Smartsheet information in another tool
• Lead the project to migrate information from Tableau to PowerBI
• Assist the Milpitas Quality group in process automation and improvement projects
• Fulfill tasks assigned by the Quality Director

What they're looking for:

• Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the assignment
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) or relevant majors
• Proficiency or understanding in Python, programming languages, MS Excel, PowerBI, Smartsheet, SQL, SharePoint, Tableau, etc
• Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
• Database management
• Data Architecture
• SmartSheet
• SAP
