2027 Summer Intern: Data Center Engineer - Electrical

Spectrum is a telecommunications company providing connectivity, communication, and entertainment services. The Data Center Engineer intern will support critical infrastructure operations, including equipment installation, fiber and CAT6 builds, HVAC and power system monitoring, and project documentation and design.

What you'll do:

• The Data Center Critical Infrastructure team (DCCI) supports the equipment responsible for Charter's many products. All broadcast services, VOD, telephony, and commercial business offerings are processed at our sites and distributed to various hubs throughout our footprint
• Candidates will assist with BAU equipment rack mounting, layer 1 fiber and CAT6 builds, monitoring and adjusting HVAC and power systems. They will also participate in project design, producing material needs lists (BOMs), assessing impacts to existing infrastructure, creating SOW documents in Visio, PDF, Power Point to provide details of the proposed work

What they're looking for:

• **This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.**
• * Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• * Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
• * Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• * Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• * Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
• * Office Suite, Visio (preferred)
