2027 Summer Intern: Human Resources - Spectrum News

Spectrum is a telecommunications and media company offering connectivity, news, programming, and related services. The Human Resources Intern will support the Spectrum News HR team with onboarding, learning and development, HR metrics, reporting, research, administrative tasks, and special projects across the employee lifecycle.

What you'll do:

• Assist with onboarding and orientation activities for new hires, support learning & development initiatives, compile HR metrics and prepare reports using MS Office tools, research industry trends and best practices, provide administrative support for the HR team and assist with special projects

• * You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university: + Communications, Human Resources, IOS Psychology, Journalism
• * Must be a Master's student with an expected graduation date of May 2028
• * Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Master's degree
• * Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• * Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• * Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
• * Strong organizational and project management skills
• * Excellent written and verbal communication
• * Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• * Ability to handle confidential information
• * Interest in the employee experience, organizational development, and talent development
