About this role

Spectrum is a telecommunications and connectivity company serving customers and communities across the United States. The Corporate Physical Security Operations Intern will support the Communications, Operations, and Training team through operational strategy, project execution, data analysis, internal communications, incident response support, and cross-regional collaboration.

What you'll do:

  • Provide direct support to CPS leadership in managing COT functions across regional and enterprise-level initiatives
  • Maintain project trackers and consolidate team updates
  • Develop and recommend tools, templates, and process improvements to streamline CPS operations
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in internal communications, helping to align messaging and timelines
  • Assist in drafting PPT decks, excel reports, & SharePoint content to strengthen communication within CPS leadership and across business unit partners
  • Perform light data analysis to evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable recommendations
  • Build knowledge of physical security risks, both internal and external, and provide perspectives by analyzing trends, gaps, and emerging threats

  • This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
  • You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university: + Accounting, Business Administration, Business Technology Management, Communications, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Public Safety, Human Resources, IOS Psychology, Journalism, Liberal Arts, Political Science, History, English, Philosophy, Management and Organization, Marketing
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between of May 2028 to May 2029
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through effective project and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Lists)
  • Ability to collaborate across regions & proactively align with leadership priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with capability to exercise these skills across platforms (Outlook, Webex, In-Person)
