2027 Summer Intern, Pricing Associate (Reston, VA or Remote)

ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider seeking a Pricing Associate Intern for its Corporate Pricing Team. The intern will support the development of accurate, compliant, and competitive pricing solutions by analyzing solicitation requirements, building pricing models, preparing proposals, and conducting financial analyses for government and commercial clients.

What you'll do:

• Support the development of timely, accurate, and compliant cost and business proposals that help ICF compete effectively and deliver strong value to clients
• Review requests for proposals and related documents to identify pricing requirements, evaluation criteria, submission instructions, compliance considerations, and key assumptions
• Assist in building, maintaining, and quality-checking pricing models, including labor, other direct costs, travel, subcontractor costs, indirect rates, fees, and escalation assumptions
• Collect, organize, and analyze cost inputs from operations, subcontractors, finance, contracts, and other stakeholders to support complete, clear, and defensible pricing submissions
• Document pricing assumptions, methodologies, and supporting rationale so proposal teams and reviewers can easily understand how pricing aligns with the proposed technical approach
• Participate in pricing strategy discussions, proposal reviews, color team reviews, and internal approval processes by preparing analyses and responding to reviewer feedback
• Prepare financial analyses, scenario comparisons, and pricing summaries that help proposal teams evaluate competitiveness, profitability, and risk
• Contribute ideas to improve pricing templates, tools, quality controls, and processes that support consistency, compliance, and efficiency across proposals

What they're looking for:

• By start date at least 15 completed credit hours in Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, workbook review, and the ability to learn and work with detailed pricing models
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately with financial, operational, and proposal data
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize assumptions, analyses, and recommendations for different audiences
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines
• Interest in cost estimation, pricing, financial analysis, business operations, government consulting, or government contracting
