2027 Summer Intern: Software Engineer

Spectrum is a telecommunications company providing connectivity and communication services through the Spectrum brand. The Software Engineering Intern will develop software for workforce management, technician scheduling, and dispatch tools, working across web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud services. The role includes participation in the full software development lifecycle and internship professional development activities.

What you'll do:

• We develop software solutions for workforce management, technician scheduling, and dispatch tools that power Spectrum's field operations — coordinating 25,000 technicians serving millions of customers daily. Our team leverages a modern technology stack and AI-driven tools to analyze patterns, build intelligent solutions, and continuously improve how field operations are managed at enterprise scale
• You will build features using modern development tools including AI-assisted coding environments and pattern analysis, working across the full technology stack spanning web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud services
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from requirements and design through development, testing, and deployment, collaborating with experienced engineers on real business problems

What they're looking for:

• * Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• * Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
• * Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• * Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• * Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
• * Python, Java, Database, AI (Vibe coding)
