2027 Summer Intern - Structured Finance Ratings

KBRA is a credit rating agency offering a 10-week summer internship program in its Structured Finance Group. The intern will support credit rating teams by analyzing data, assisting with deal workflows and credit committee materials, testing models, preparing sample reports, and presenting mock transactions.

What you'll do:

• Gathering, inputting, and analyzing data in support of team operations
• Assisting in surveillance & new issuance deal workflow
• Supporting analysts in the preparation of credit committee materials
• Testing analytical models and tools
• Working on sample credit reports
• Presenting mock transactions in committee style settings

What they're looking for:

• Undergraduate concentration in finance, accounting, business, economics, or real estate
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A strong desire to learn data and finance analysis
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with others in a collaborative environment
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus

Benefits:

• 10-week summer internship program, hosted from June 2 through August 5, 2027
• Interns are expected to be in-person four days per week (Monday through Thursday) and have the option to work remotely on Fridays.

• A capstone project to be presented to senior staff at the end of the internship
