2027 Summer Intern – Wealth (Raleigh, NC)

First Citizens Bank offers a summer internship program providing development opportunities and hands-on corporate experience. The Wealth Intern will gain exposure to wealth management areas and support research, analytics, strategy, process improvement, content creation, technology enhancements, and business projects.

What you'll do:

• Work with a host team who will guide you in your project work and help you learn about their team and responsibilities
• Be a part of a team of high-performing motivated Wealth interns from around the country
• Be part of a dynamic team with meaningful projects
• Accountabilities could include areas such as research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, content creation, technology enhancements and business support
• Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events
• Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and the internship program
• Prepare a final presentation to be shared with division leaders and other key stakeholders to share your accomplishments and experience during the internship

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during the time of the summer program)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
• Juniors pursuing a BA/BS/BBA degree with a focus in Financial courses or other related field of study
• 3.0 minimum GPA
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Possess a positive attitude, naturally curious and enjoys collaborating with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
