2027 Summer Internship - Data Analytics/Science/Applied Math - (Pomona/Rosemead) 1

Southern California Edison (SCE) is advancing clean energy innovation and reliable service while helping reduce carbon emissions. The 12-week summer internship provides hands-on experience in data analytics, data science, or applied mathematics through collaborative utility-sector projects, mentoring, networking, and professional development.

What you'll do:

• Come prepared to work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• You’ll be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
• Build your professional network through various intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in either Data Analytics, Data Science or Applied Math discipline at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher
• Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California
• This position requires you to be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
