2027 Summer Internship - Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Ventura)

Southern California Edison (SCE), part of Edison International, is focused on advancing clean energy and improving safety and reliability for its customers. The summer intern will gain hands-on experience in the utility and energy sector, collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams, develop professional skills, and present an assigned project at the annual Intern Expo.

What you'll do:

• Come prepared to work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• You’ll be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
• Build your professional network through various intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher
• Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California
• We require you to be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
