2027 Summer Internship - Mechanical or Computer Engineering (Redlands)

Southern California Edison is a clean energy company focused on innovation, reliable service, and reducing carbon emissions. The 12-week summer internship provides hands-on experience in the utility and energy sector, with opportunities to collaborate on projects, develop professional skills, work with mentors and cross-functional teams, and present an assigned project.

What you'll do:

• Come prepared to work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• You’ll be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
• Build your professional network through various intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical or Computer Engineering at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher
