2027 Summer Internship Program - OAS Business Analyst

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is hiring a summer intern business analyst. The role provides analytical support for data-driven projects, assesses business needs and processes, and contributes to operational improvements and solutions.

What you'll do:

• Provides analytical support on data-driven problems or projects of limited scope and under defined procedures and practices; follows standard procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained; receives detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
• Works with leadership and other resources to assess current capabilities, clarify business needs and identify why problems may be occurring; analyses data-driven problems with appropriate logic and fact finding; identifies irregularities or issues in work activities before major problems appear; organizes data and information in a manner that effectively communicates issues and underlying cause/effect relationships
• Provides support and collaboration in completing analysis, engages other stakeholders in collecting feedback and input to complete work activities
• Contributes to process improvement and solution discussions and may present outcomes to management; assists in studies to improve operations efficiency and department services
• Assists in the development and design of new business processes and the updating of existing business processes
