2027 Summer- Software Engineer Intern

CHAOS Industries is a defense technology company developing products for domain dominance through Coherent Distributed Networks. The company is seeking Software Engineer Interns to build firmware for sensor nodes and software that synchronizes them, while contributing to developer experience, platform scalability and reliability, and storage and data infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Projects that will include building features to improve the developer experience for CHAOS engineers
• Projects that would enhance the scalability & reliability of CHAOS platforms
• Storage and Data Infrastructure

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other tech tools
• Working proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or JAX
• Exposure to embedded development through coursework, personal projects, competition teams, or prior internships
• Willingness to work on hardware
• You've collaborated on the above two things as part of a group - school club, competition team, as part of a job/internship, or just with friends
