2027 Technology Cyber & Security Summer Internship Program Whippany

Barclays is a global financial institution seeking summer interns to support its Chief Security Office. The role involves helping reduce security risk, protecting customers and clients, supporting business initiatives, improving security delivery, and contributing to cyber and operational resilience.

What you'll do:

• Collaboration with experts across teams to help reduce risk, protect our customer and clients, and provide a world class service for our business
• Identification of opportunities for us to improve and maximise agility and develop an agile and intelligence led approach to security delivery
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business projects and initiatives
• Identification of opportunities for us to improve, and clearly articulating to drive positive change across the function
• To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement
• Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise
• Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise
• They lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources

What they're looking for:

• To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 and have a GPA of 3.2 or above
• You'll also bring a keen interest — or hands-on experience — in Cybersecurity or a technology-related field
