About this role
Solidigm is a global memory technology company developing data center storage products. The company is seeking undergraduate interns to support hardware design, evaluation, debugging, and product development activities for data center SSD products from concept through release.
What you'll do:
- Assist with design, evaluation, and debug of hardware subsystems and components
- Support schematic review, board-level bring-up, and hardware/firmware interaction analysis
- Support new product development activities from concept through design, prototyping, and release
- Help track technical inputs, product requirements, and project milestones across engineering disciplines
- Help analyze component and system-level test data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Use or help develop scripts and tools (e.g., Python) to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, validation, and product engineering
- Help document designs, test methods, and project deliverables
What they're looking for:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline
- Foundational coursework in electrical design, analog and digital electronics, or hardware systems
- Exposure to one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python
- Familiarity with Linux-based development or lab environments
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
- This role is not eligible for candidates requiring VISA sponsorship
- Coursework or academic project experience in electrical design, circuit analysis, or hardware/component evaluation
- Exposure to hardware bring-up, board-level debug, or system integration
- Interest in product development processes or cross-functional engineering coordination
- Exposure to data analysis, scripting, or automation through coursework or projects
