Position Summary
Summary:
Social Workers provide services to all types and ages of patients, including infants, children, adolescents, young adults and the elderly.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• MSW (Master in Social Work) from a School of Social Work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. (CSWE)
Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Prior experience in Social Work in a health care setting or other relevant social work setting is preferred.
License/Certifications
• LMSW (New York State Licensure in Social Work)
• Mandated OMH documentation: Mandated reporter attestation and Code of Conduct
• Screen Certification within 1 month of hire
