Description
*Must be able to train for 3 weeks on 1st shift *
Job Summary: Responsible for assembly product for individual orders and loading on trailers for shipment.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
- Receive load packet with pick tickets from load coordinator
- Hand out pick tickets to pickers
- Use Shop Floor system to locate product
- Use forklift/high-lift to pick the product (use proper age dates when picking order)
- Scan the picked product to the order
- Wrap each pallet using an automated wrap machine
- Fill out proper paperwork(Talley sheet, seal tag, pallet report(Costco).
- Load assigned trailer in order of shipment stops and to meet weight requirements
- Work in a safe manner
- Follow Food Safety Guidelines
- Follow Housekeeping Procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate high lift/ forklift in a safe manner
- Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices
- Must pass certification to operate a high lift/forklift
- Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. consistently throughout shift
- Ability to work in environment of 28 degrees
- Ability to operate scan gun
- Ability to operate Shop Floor system
- Ability to operate automatic wrapping machines
- Understanding of the logistics of loading a trailer
