Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:
The counter clerk maintains a clean and safe Coffee/Gift Shop while greeting and serving Customers; handling cash transactions, food preparation and creating displays for merchandise for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience And Skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• No experience required

License/Certifications

Working Conditions

Working Conditions
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
• Requires standing in one spot and working in high temperatures.
•Requires periods of movement including bending, pushing and lifting up to approximately 30lbs.
•Prepares kitchen prep for Coffee Shop following food handling procedures.
