B4Corp is a defense contracting company that supports the United States intelligence community and other defense organizations. The ServiceNow Software Engineer will develop, implement, maintain, document, and test ServiceNow applications and related databases and cloud services using Agile methodologies, while supporting security, architecture, documentation, and customer objectives.

What you'll do:

• The Software Engineer will work from core hours from 0900 hours to 1500 hours with alternative works schedules discussed on a case-by-case basis
• The Software Engineer will follow an Agile methodology for SN software development
• The Software Engineer will support the implementation of the Customer’s identified objectives and priorities for SN features and functions and actively contribute to the AGILE methodology for software implementation
• The Software Engineer will support the implementation of security and development requirements as required by the Customer applications
• The Software Engineer will follow the Customer’s document management plan that addresses documents required for all Customer applications and systems, their storage locations and versioning requirements
• The Software Engineer will support the implementation of SN reference architecture and documentation as required for Customers SN platform
• The Software Engineer will design, develop, maintain, and document code in support of software applications following industry best practices
• The Software Engineer will design, develop, maintain and document code in support of databases following industry best practices
• The Software Engineer will design, develop, maintain and document code in support of cloud services following industry best practices
• The Software Engineer will conduct unit, functional, and user testing

• Position Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph
• Demonstrated experience with development of ServiceNow applications
• Demonstrated experience implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards
• Demonstrated experience using agile methodology
• Demonstrated experience using Jira
• Demonstrated experience proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting business goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, or service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development
• Demonstrate experience interfacing with web-based databases and providing reports generation
• Demonstrated on-job experience with version control software like Github or Subversion
• Demonstrated experience in managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems
• Demonstrated experience developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes
• Demonstrated experience working with compliance or performance management applications
