About this role
The Department of Primary Care and Rural Medicine (PCRM) in the Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine at Texas A&M University College of Medicine seeks to fill one (1) academic professional track (non-tenure) position for a full-time, 11-month appointment with an anticipated start date in the Fall of 2026. Applications will be accepted at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, and Clinical Professor. Commensurate with qualifications.
- The applicant would be expected to engage in:
- clinical service delivery
- curriculum development
- clinical teaching of interdisciplinary team members
- Research initiatives including grant writing and clinical research.
- The applicant will collaborate with grant collaborators as needed on the activities above.

Required education and experience include:
- Doctoral degree in clinical, counseling, or school psychology or another applicable field of study within behavioral health
- Clinical experience in medical settings
- Clinical experience with telehealth
- Clinical teaching experience in behavioral health
- Completion of an accredited program in your discipline
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in your discipline if applicable
