Account Administrator

ADESA, a Carvana-owned automotive auction company, provides vehicle services and auction remarketing operations across the United States. The Account Administrator manages customer account administration, including financial processing, inventory reporting, sale preparation, reconciliation, sales support, and customer inquiries for commercial and dealer partners.

What you'll do:

• Manage daily account operations, including professional customer communication, invoicing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), and payment processing
• Oversee inventory monitoring and reporting (both pre- and post-sale). Ensure all systems are updated accurately while coordinating cross-functional follow-up with internal teams and vendors, including dispatch logistics
• Ensure high accuracy in sale preparation and execution, including lineup management, fee posting, and reconditioning (recon) activities
• Perform detailed reconciliation of transactions to ensure all account records are accurate following auction activities
• Provide administrative support to the sales team and assist with resolving customer inquiries or account discrepancies
• Maintain accurate data entry for vehicle information, customer records, and transaction history in company systems
• Ensure all company policies, administrative standards, and state/federal laws are followed
• Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager

What they're looking for:

• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes
• 1–3 years of administrative, accounting, or customer service experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and the ability to learn internal inventory management and billing systems
• Basic understanding of invoicing and A/R processes
• To be able to do your job at ADESA, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Automotive or auction industry experience is a plus
