The Opportunity

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service, relationship management, and account stewardship for Regional Business customers and broker partners. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and brokers, ensuring a seamless customer experience, supporting client retention and growth strategies, and partnering closely with Sales, Underwriting, Implementation, and Service teams to achieve business objectives across the U.S. Regional Business market.

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for broker partners, building trusted relationships and delivering a consistently exceptional service experience.
  • Lead broker engagement activities, including stewardship meetings, renewal discussions, and strategic planning to support client retention and growth.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Underwriters, and internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that drive customer satisfaction, persistency, and profitable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business through cross-sell, re-enrollment, and value-added solutions that address broker and customer needs.
  • Facilitate the timely resolution of service issues and complex customer concerns while providing proactive communication, advocacy, and support for broker partners.

  • 3+ years of related business experience in account management, customer service, or relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with brokers, customers, and internal business partners, with excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop strategic account plans.
  • Must obtain required Life and Accident & Health State Licenses within the first 3 months of employment.
  • Ability to use approved AI tools to support routine tasks such as drafting, summarizing, organization information, and improving day-to-day efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience in employee benefits, insurance, or financial services with a strong understanding of broker and customer relationship management.
  • Proven ability to lead customer-facing presentations, stewardship meetings, and strategic account planning discussions.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

Description and Requirements

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation under the sales plan for the position. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
