Account Receivable Account Payable

HOLOGIC is seeking an Account Receivable Account Payable professional to support accurate financial processes and timely transaction handling. Position Summary In this full-time, remote role based in Chicago, IL, you will manage key accounts receivable and accounts payable activities to ensure invoices, payments, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues and maintain clean, reliable financial records. You will help sustain strong cash flow visibility by verifying transactions, supporting month-end close activities, and following established controls and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoice preparation, billing support, and payment status updates Manage accounts payable activities, such as invoice review, matching, coding, and processing for payment Reconcile account activity, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner Support collections efforts by monitoring outstanding balances and coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls Required Qualifications Experience supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable processes in an operational or accounting environment Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple transactions Solid understanding of basic accounting workflows, invoice/payment lifecycles, and reconciliation principles Professional communication skills for interacting with internal teams and addressing discrepancies Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience in month-end reconciliation and close support Knowledge of common accounting systems and data entry practices that support audit readiness Familiarity with billing and payment dispute resolution Background in finance or accounting with coursework or training that reinforces bookkeeping fundamentals Demonstrated commitment to process improvement and operational efficiency Compensation Hourly rate: $28 - $40
