Accountant

ARS Recycling Systems is a global leader in steel abrasive blasting equipment offering reliable, high-performance systems. The company is seeking an Accountant to provide accounting and financial support to the Vice President of Finance and assist with day-to-day financial operations in a build-to-order manufacturing company. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and processing accounting transactions and reports accurately and timely.

What you'll do:

• Maintain accurate accounting and financial records
• Process AP invoices and vendor payments
• Post and distribute customer invoices
• Prepare and send monthly AR statements
• Monitor past-due accounts and perform collections
• Maintain detailed collection records
• Post and reconcile cash receipts
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with cash flow reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing
• Assist with budgets and expense tracking
• Prepare financial reports and support schedules

What they're looking for:

• • Minimum of bachelor's degree
• • 1-3 years' experience in accounting required
• • Knowledge of AP, AR, and bookkeeping
• • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• • Strong organizational and time-management skills
• • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills
• • Ability to maintain confidentiality
• • Proficiency with accounting and spreadsheet software
• • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• • Strong math and recordkeeping skills
