Accountant - MLS

Main Line Health is hiring an Accountant for its Finance Department within Main Line Services. The role supports monthly general ledger closing and prepares analyses, journal entries, financial statements, lead schedules, variance analyses, and subsidiary ledgers in accordance with GAAP.

What you'll do:

• As an Accountant on our team, you would report to the Senior Accountant and assist in the monthly general ledger closing
• Use your analytical skills and attention to detail while preparing all assigned analysis on a timely basis in order to complete journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• This includes preparing: Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, and Change in Net Asset lead schedules, variance analysis, and subsidiary ledgers

What they're looking for:

• Ability to analyze data using Microsoft office applications & other department specific software
• B.S. in Accounting is required
• One to Three years' experience as an accountant preferred
• Accounting experience in the healthcare field preferred
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred
