About this role
STI is seeking an Accountant to manage financial transactions and compliance reviews. The role involves vouching deposits, performing reconciliations, and updating procedures and training manuals.
What you'll do:
- Vouches deposits and disbursements of state & federal and student financial aid/loan programs
- Ability to work inter-dependently
- Performs weekly and monthly fund reconciliations
- Prepares and updates OSFA’s procedures and training manuals
- Conducts compliance reviews of nonpublic post-secondary institutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
