Accounting and FP&A Internship (client-facing)

Series Next Solutions is a scaling start-up based in New Orleans, LA, providing data-driven Finance and Accounting solutions to growing businesses. They are seeking an Accounting and FP&A Intern to support their Client Operations team by ensuring clients' accounting records remain accurate and assisting in financial projections.

What you'll do:

• Perform monthly checklist steps that ensure our clients’ accounting records stay clean and consistent
• Update our clients’ financial projections
• Update the metrics we track for our clients

What they're looking for:

• Took an accounting course and it 'clicked' for you
• You secretly think spreadsheets are fun
• Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take direction and provide support on day-to-day administrative duties and data entry
• Share our passion for working with entrepreneurs
• Prior experience not required, only a willingness to learn
