About this role
FUTREND Technology Inc. is hiring an Accounting Associate to support a Federal Government customer as part of its accounting team. The role processes intergovernmental payments and collections, tracks payment status, and responds to inquiries, with remote work and occasional onsite work in Bethesda.
What you'll do:
- Process large volume of Intra Goverment Payment and Collection using Treasury IPAC system
- Track payment and receiving status and follow up with Government POC
- Answer inquiries
What they're looking for:
- 1+ years Accounting/Business/Finance/Operations Experience
- Excellent attention to details
- Solid Excel Skills – vlookup, pivot tables
- Ability to communicate clearly written and orally
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a four year college in Accounting
- Must be able to pass a Public Trust background security investigation and obtain clearance to work on a Government Contract
- US Citizens or Permanent Residents only
- Experience with Oracle Financials
- Experience with process improvement
- Experience with Government Contracting
- Experience with PMS
