Accounting Clerk

Don Ringler Automotive is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The role processes transactions, reconciles accounts, supports reporting and month-end activities, and assists with administrative accounting functions.

What you'll do:

• Process and post daily financial transactions accurately and timely
• Reconcile accounts and schedules
• Maintain and organize accounting files and records
• Assist with account reconciliations and reporting activities
• Verify transaction information and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Support internal accounting controls and company procedures
• Support month-end accounting processes and administrative tasks
• Communicate professionally with customers, financial institutions, and internal departments
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information
• Contribute to team success through collaboration and professionalism
• Perform other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills required
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is required
• General accounting functions, Administrative Writing Skills, Organization, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness and Verbal Communication skills
• Previous accounting and bookkeeping experience preferred
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus
• Automobile accounting experience preferred
