Accounting & Finance Intern - Summer 2027

Franklin Electric is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern for its summer 2027 internship program. The intern will support finance department projects, work with team members to achieve assigned goals, build relationships, and meet project deadlines in a global business environment.

What you'll do:

• The selected candidate(s) will work alongside existing team members to achieve assigned project goals outlined by the supporting management team
• The candidate(s) will be able to gain exposure to business involvement on a global platform while building relationships and meeting project deadlines

• Communication – Delivers accurate, clear, and concise messages orally and/or in writing
• Problem Solving – Uses a logical, systematic search for the source of a problem, determining the most likely cause by eliminating potential causes of a problem
• Decision Making – Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; compares alternatives and makes timely decisions
• Business Process Knowledge – Understands the process steps and purpose of the important business processes used by finance and accounting teams
• Enrolled in College (required)
• Pursuing a Finance or Accounting related degree (required)
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Microsoft Operation Systems (Required)
• Microsoft Office (Required); Specific emphasis on Excel (required)
• Junior or Senior standing, completed Sophomore year (preferred)
