Accounting/Finance Internships 2027

AgReserves, Inc. is hiring Accounting and Finance Interns for 2027 across several agricultural operations and headquarters locations. The interns will support accounting and finance processes, including financial analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, inventory tracking, equipment billing review, and accurate data entry.

What you'll do:

• Help with basic financial analysis and reports as needed. Prepare simple journal entries each month
• Assist with account reconciliations (fuel, balance sheet, etc.)
• Support tracking and updates for fixed assets (additions, changes, disposals)
• Help count and track inventory (such as chemicals)
• Review and analyze equipment billing rates
• Enter data accurately into company systems (Lawson, CHIPS, FISC, OnBase, etc.)
• Learn how the accounting department operates
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team discussions
• Performs other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Currently working toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Willing to learn new systems (ERP systems are a plus)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Able to work in the office and meet deadlines (including occasional extended hours)
• Occasionally lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 30 pounds, such as files, supplies, or equipment
• Regularly sit, stand, and move about the office environment
• Frequently use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, phone, and other standard office equipment
• Occasionally reach, bend, or stoop to access files, storage, or office equipment
• Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically, including written and verbal communication
