Accounting Intern

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is a manufacturer of passenger and commercial vans with operations in Charleston, South Carolina. The Accounting Intern will support finance and accounting activities, including internal controls, accounts receivable and payable, payment processing, presentations, training documentation, and special projects.

What you'll do:

• Internal controls implementation and verification
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Assist in preparation of presentations
• Support the payment processing team
• Documentation of training materials
• Complete special projects as needed
• Other duties may be assigned

What they're looking for:

• Qualifications: Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors in pursuit of their Bachelor's or Master's Degree or having graduated within the past 12 months
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position
• Applicants should be eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a growing company with handling a complex multi-million dollar project
• The individual should be self-motivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization
• Learn or improve the German language; cultural exchange with German interns
