Accounting Intern

RAM Construction Services is a long-established waterproofing and restoration contractor with a focus on skilled workforce training, safety, and collaboration. The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team by preparing invoices and expense reports, assisting with financial reporting, tracking accounts payable and receivable information, supporting budgets and audits, and performing accounting data entry and clerical duties.

What you'll do:

• Help prepare invoice and expense reports
• Assist in collecting and preparing monthly financial reports for review
• Communicating with accounts payable and accounts receivable to track invoices and other essential information
• Assist accounting team with budgets, forecasting, audit and other accounting processes
• Perform data entry for accounting functions including accounts payable, receivables and other processing
• Create and maintain filing systems for accounting functions
• Perform any general clerical duties to assist the accounting department

What they're looking for:

• Working towards completing your Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Accounting/Finance degree
• Currently attending a college or university in a related degree program such as Accounting / Finance / etc
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail & computer skills
• Creative problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook
• Seeing, hearing, walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, speaking, sitting, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating and working
• Interest in construction industry preferred
• Interest in private accounting practices preferred
